The Digital Archives of the Argyle District Acadians owes its existence, in part, to the assistance of several people. Our thanks are addressed, initially, to Father Clarence d'Entremont and to Désiré d'Eon, who have both left such informative and interesting legacies. Secondly, we must thank the people whose presence and support largely helped us on a day to day basis; Bernice and Réal d'Entremont who helped us find all that we needed, Pauline d'Entremont for her quests for information and her collaborations and Coral d'Entremont for his wisdom and advice.
We also make a point of thanking all the other collaborators essential to the realization our project; Father Maurice LeBlanc for his religious information and his time, Bertin d'Eon for his help with the music; Paul d'Entremont for revising the French text, Laurent d'Entremont for answering our questions and to be our historical guide for the area, Delbée d'Entremont for his information, Nancy Hubbard for revising the French text and Roseline LeBlanc for her information.
This project was supported, in financing, by Industry Canada (programs Youth Connexion and Canada's Digital Collections), and by Canadian Heritage, through the Interdepartmental Partnership with the Official Language Communities (IPOLC). It was carried out in the office of le Centre de Recherche (les Archives Père Clarence d'Entremont) in Nova Scotia, Canada.
