CAMERA COLLECTION

Exhibited on the first floor of the Museum's annex is
a unique collection of cameras from Bernard L. d'Entremont.
Bernard L. d'Entremont (1907-1994) may never have
been known as a great photographer, but he has kept the art alive in his own way - by
restoring the tools of the trade. He purchased a few cameras in the 1950's, mostly
for his own use. However, the bulk of his collection (approx. 300 cameras)
was acquired during the mid-sixties up until around 1990. His hobby led him and his family
all over the Maritimes, New England, and as far was Ontario in search of more cameras.
